Negative: The owners cancelled my original booking because I was using my partner's credit card (who was joining me on the trip). We were told we had 24 hours to amend the booking (i.e. change the name on the booking to my partner's) which we did after 22 hours. Even so we were charged an increased rate, and the owners refused to refund the difference.

Parking was a little challenging to understand especially if you’re not familiar with the French language and deciphering street signs. Once that was figured out, the stay was great!

This apartment is well located for lots of sightseeing on foot in Montreal. It's well equipped and functional. The unit is creatively decorated in each room to correspond to the Fiction theme.The folks who manage this rental are easy to contact and were very responsive to our every request.There is an apartment directly above. Footsteps from the occupants upstairs can be heard when they're home. This may disturb you if you are sensitive to noise.Based on our experience, it is difficult to park a car close by because the neighborhood street parking requires a local permit. It may be best not to have your own car with you if you're renting here.
